How to create my API KEY on Coinbase GDAX Exchange.

Coinbase GDAX exchange is the trading platform. The amount of technical details on this page is overwhelming, but we only need to focus on the API creation. By setting up the trading API KEY, Coinbase allows IBB to trade here.

1. Login into your Coinbase GDAX Exchange account at https://gdax.com

Using the same login information for Coinbase Account, you can login to Coinbase GDAX Exchange. If this is your first time, GDAX may require additional verification before proceeding. Skip Step 2 if you have been verified.

3. Create an API

On the top right corner on the GDAX interface, click on the menu and select API.

Inside the "API" page you will need to make a pass-phrase, give trade, and manage rights.

  1. Make sure Transfer is unchecked!

  2. Copy and paste to a text editor the following: Passphrase, API KEY and API Secret. This key is only revealed once.

5. Send the key to us via email

We recommend sending the API KEY using a simple winzip file with a password.

Please include the following information: your name, email, passphrase, APIKEY and API SECRET.
